Texas Country artist Cory Morrow has a new gig, and this one has him spending a little more time behind the wheel.
Morrow has officially launched Morrow Motors, a new automotive business in Spicewood, Texas, built around his longtime love of cars and a mission to make buying and selling a vehicle a little more personal.
According to Morrow, cars have always been another passion of his outside of music. After nearly three decades of traveling Texas and beyond playing shows and building relationships with fans, friends and communities, he saw an opportunity to bring those relationships into a completely different business.
Morrow Motors offers vehicle sourcing and consignment, with an emphasis on transparency, honest pricing and a no pressure buying experience. The dealership’s mission is also closely tied to Morrow’s faith, with the company stating its purpose is to “glorify God by serving people well.”
And this apparently isn’t supposed to be your typical walk in, sign some paperwork and get out of there car dealership.
Morrow says he wants the Spicewood shop to be a place where people can stop by, have a cup of coffee, listen to some music, talk cars and simply hang out. The business is also launching a weekly Cars, Scars, & Guitars podcast featuring stories, cars, music and conversations with people from Morrow’s world.
The website may have the best explanation of the whole idea:
“At the end of the day, people are at the center of Morrow Motors. Cars are simply the vehicle.”
Morrow Motors is located at 121 CR 423, Unit #6 in Spicewood and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
So, yes, you can now buy a vehicle from Cory Morrow.
And if you’re looking for concert tickets instead, the Morrow Motors website has an answer for that too: “Looking for tickets? Wrong site.”
