Boots, Barrels & Heroes, a new Texas Hill Country concert experience, will take place Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, Texas.
Headlined by Texas country favorite Josh Abbott Band, the event will bring together live music, local businesses, vendors, food, drinks and the unmistakable hospitality of the Texas Hill Country. Rising Texas artist Logan Papp and Texas country band Kin Faux will also perform.
“This event is about creating more than another night of live music,” said Michelle Lewis of Corner of Crazy Media. “We want people to come together, enjoy an incredible Texas concert experience and leave feeling like they were part of something meaningful.”
Boots, Barrels & Heroes is being produced through a partnership between Corner of Crazy Media and Evilhawk Entertainment, with support from Central Texas media partner KOKE Radio and other participating businesses.
“We’re excited to bring something fresh and authentic to the Hill Country,” said Ian Evilsizor of Evilhawk Entertainment. “This event is about great music, strong community connections and creating an experience people will remember long after the last song is played.”
Guests will enjoy performances from Josh Abbott Band, Logan Papp and Kin Faux, along with local retail, arts, crafts and service vendors, food and beverage offerings, sponsor experiences and premium ticket opportunities. Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa offers a destination setting for concertgoers who want to turn the event into a full weekend getaway.
A portion of the event’s community outreach will recognize and support Fireside Chat Support Network, serving veterans, first responders and others who have answered the call to serve.
