Wade Bowen Claims the #1 Spot on Texas Radio With “Rain”

Wade Bowen has this week’s #1 song on Texas radio with “Rain.”

Bowen co-wrote the deeply personal song with longtime collaborators Sean McConnell and Drew Kennedy during a particularly difficult chapter in his life, following vocal surgery and the loss of his nephew, who was also a member of his road crew. “Rain” is a song about grief, perseverance and finding a way to keep moving through some of life’s hardest moments.

Released in May, “Rain” will also serve as the opening track on Bowen’s upcoming album, The Version of Me You Get, due September 25th. Now, just a few months after its release, the song has made its way to the top of the Texas Regional Radio Report.
