How high’s the water, mama? Five feet high and risin’.
Johnny Cash is flooding his hometown of Kingsland, Arkansas.
To honor the Man in Black, Kingsland has a silhouette of Cash on its water tower of him with a guitar and some sharpshooter put a bullet right in the crouch area to make it appear he’s taking a leak on the town.
Whoever shot the Kingsland, AR water tower is a good shot.

An investigation is underway and according to WhiskeyRiff Kingsland City Council Member Sharon Crosby is on it; “Kingsland received a $300,000 grant that we used to entirely refurbish the interior and exterior of the city water receptacle. After realizing what had happened Tuesday morning, our water department director contacted state and local authorities regarding the vandalism. At this point we are waiting to hear more from the investigation, but Cleveland County has a very good sheriff’s department. Sheriff Jack Rogers and investigator Gary Young are working hard to find the responsible person.”
Also, this isn’t the first time someone with good aim wanted to play a joke on the town. Back in 1993 someone took a shot and got charged and fined $11,000 for the class 3 felony.
