Sturgill Simpson surprised fans with a cover of Post Malone’s song ‘Sunflower’.

The song is widely recognized from being featured in the 2018 film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Simpson wrote on his Instagram that he had been watching the movie, oh 87 times or so and even mentioned posty followed by a heart emoji in his caption.

Simpson does address the low quality of the video telling viewers to deal with it because they are “Spoiled”. He’s been back on the gram for less than a month and has really taken to it. Posting often, let’s hope for more unexpected covers.
