Robert Earl Keen will host a special benefit concert for his longtime guitarist and friend Rich Brotherton on Wednesday, August 26, at Devil’s Backbone Tavern in Fischer.
Applause for the Cause: A Night for Rich Brotherton will feature a full-band performance from Robert Earl Keen, with Race Ricketts opening the show.
The benefit will support Brotherton, who is living with ALS. Proceeds from the event will benefit Brotherton as part of Applause for the Cause, Keen’s charitable giving initiative.
The show is Wednesday, August 26, at Devil’s Backbone Tavern, located at 4041 FM 32 in Fischer. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. The event is for ages 18 and older.
Reserved seats and private tables are available. Fans will also have additional opportunities to contribute during the show through QR codes and special Robert Earl Keen merchandise benefiting the cause.
