Texas Country music superstar Kevin Fowler surprised a Round Rock teen battling a rare form of cancer thanks to Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody.
Kevin Fowler presented Clayton Dalton with an autographed guitar Thursday night in Williamson County. Dalton is battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, and dreams of one day becoming a law enforcement officer. According to the American Cancer Society, Rhabdomyosarcoma is a cancer made up of cells that normally develop into skeletal muscles,
“He’s just a really great kid and he’s out there fighting the fight every day struggling with this thing,” Fowler said. “I think Bobby wanted to do something special for him.”
In addition to the guitar, Sheriff Robert Chody also presented him with an honorary Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy badge.
