Tyler Childers has spent some time tuning his fiddle skills and just dropped a surprise album titled ‘Long Violent History’.
The album is instrumental save for the final title track. Most tracks have a heavy fiddle which we suspect is Tyler himself. It’s like a Ken Burns soundtrack on the crack, old-timey music, that’ll get your boots stomping.
Since the last track tackles some big issues that, well, have gotten other artists in hot water as of late, he recorded a fantastic six-minute video explaining why he felt it was important. If you have some time watch the whole thing.
