Kacey Musgraves has announced a new project, Middle of Nowhere, Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes, arriving January 15, 2027.
The 16-track collection serves as a companion to her latest album, Middle of Nowhere, with a focus on traditional country and Tex-Mex influences.
Two new songs, “Weekend in Texas” and “Mi Tesoro,” are scheduled to be released Thursday night, October 22.
The project also features a Spanish-language version of “Uncertain, TX” with Tejano group Intocable, a live recording of “Tú Solo Tú” featuring Mariachi Oro de América, and tracks titled “All My Exes (Kacey’s Version),” “(Hey Baby) Qué Pasó?” and “Before the Next Teardrop Falls.”
The announcement comes as Musgraves continues promoting Middle of Nowhere, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 following its May release through Lost Highway Records.
