For decades, Dolly Parton fans have been singing about pouring themselves a “cup of ambition.” Now they’re finally getting the chance to do exactly that.
Dolly has announced the launch of her new coffee brand, Cup of Ambition, inspired by her iconic hit “9 to 5.” The new venture is a partnership with Community Coffee and will feature light, medium and dark roast blends.
According to Dolly, coffee has long been part of her daily routine, helping fuel everything from songwriting sessions to business meetings and creative projects. The country music legend says she wanted to create a coffee that reflects the same work ethic and energy that have defined her career.
The first public taste of Cup of Ambition will happen June 24 at Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, a new travel center opening south of Nashville. Visitors will be able to sample the coffee at the on-site coffee shop and throughout the facility.
Fans outside Tennessee won’t have to wait forever. Dolly’s Cup of Ambition is expected to roll out nationwide later this year in both traditional ground coffee and K-Cup varieties.
Of course, coffee is just the latest addition to Dolly’s growing business empire. From Dollywood and books to baking mixes and wine, the Country Music Hall of Famer continues to find new ways to connect with fans far beyond the stage.
And now, thanks to Dolly, that famous “cup of ambition” is no longer just a lyric.
