Alan Jackson is adding another destination for country music fans in downtown Nashville.
The Country Music Hall of Fame member has announced plans to open Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery and Museum on June 25, just two days before his final full-length concert at Nissan Stadium.
The new attraction will be located at 121 3rd Avenue South, just a short walk from Broadway.
The facility will combine two of Jackson’s passions: his music and his Silverbelly Whiskey brand. Visitors will be able to tour exhibits highlighting Jackson’s career while also getting an up-close look at the whiskey-making process. According to the announcement, Silverbelly Whiskey will be blended, proofed, bottled, and labeled on-site.
The museum will feature memorabilia and displays covering Jackson’s journey from his hometown of Newnan, Georgia, to becoming one of the most successful artists in country music history. The attraction is designed to celebrate what organizers describe as “The Music, The Stories, The Legacy” of Jackson’s career.
Guests will also be able to enjoy whiskey tastings, specialty cocktails, live music, and interactive experiences, including opportunities to bottle their own Silverbelly Whiskey.
The opening comes as Jackson prepares for “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale,” the June 27 concert that will mark the end of his touring career. An all-star lineup of artists is scheduled to join him for the event at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
