A Central Texas family is facing an unimaginable loss, and the community is already stepping up in a big way to help.
Williamson County Deputy Nate Ragaisis is now raising four young daughters on his own after the sudden passing of his wife, Sarah. According to a GoFundMe organized by family, Sarah suffered complications related to preeclampsia, a dangerous pregnancy condition that can develop quickly and without warning.
On April 18, Nate found his wife unresponsive at home and called 911. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed an emergency C-section. Their newborn daughter, Wynnie, was delivered safely.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, Sarah’s condition worsened due to severe complications, and she passed away the following day.
Now, Nate is navigating life as a grieving husband and a single father of four, including a newborn, while also dealing with the emotional and financial weight of this sudden loss.
A GoFundMe has been created to help support the family. Donations will go toward medical bills, funeral expenses, and the ongoing costs of raising four young girls, including childcare and everyday needs.
In just a short time, the fundraiser has already seen an outpouring of support, showing just how much this family means to their community.
If you feel called to help, donations and shares can make a real difference during an incredibly difficult time. And for those who may not be able to give, the family is also asking for continued prayers as they begin to navigate life without Sarah.
