Reba McEntire is kicking off her next chapter with brand new music, and this one has a strong Texas connection behind it.
Her new song, “One Night In Tulsa,” just drops and serves as the launch of a new series of releases she’s rolling out throughout the year. Instead of a traditional album, Reba is introducing what she’s calling “music capsules,” pairing new songs with carefully selected tracks from her catalog that all tie into a specific theme.
The first release centers around Oklahoma, and “One Night In Tulsa” is the centerpiece of it all.
But what really stands out here is who wrote it.
The song was written by Kylie Frey, along with Nashville heavyweights Neal Coty and Thom McHugh.
Check out Kylie’s version below and compare it to Reba’s rendition above.
