Luke Combs just added another major milestone to his already stacked career.
The country superstar has officially been named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2026, landing him alongside some of the biggest names across music, entertainment, and global culture.
Even more notable, Combs is the only country artist included on this year’s list, representing the genre on a global stage.
The honor comes with a personal tribute written by Ed Sheeran, who reflected on first hearing Combs’ music back in 2018 and quickly recognizing his talent. Sheeran praised not just his success, but the way he’s handled it, pointing to his growth as both an artist and a person.
He also highlighted Combs’ ability to stay grounded, noting his commitment to family and the authenticity that continues to show up in his music.
Not bad for a guy who built his career on doing things his own way.
