Texas outlaw Cody Jinks is already back at work on new music… and it sounds like another record is officially on the way.
Jinks hopped on Instagram this week and let fans know he’s back in the studio getting started on his next album. In a video filmed from his kitchen, he told fans they’re about to spend the next couple weeks recording and, in true Jinks fashion, he said they’re “stirring the gravy” and “whipping up some good new stuff.”
Details about the project are still pretty slim right now, but if his recent run is any indication, fans probably won’t have to wait too long. Jinks dropped his latest album In My Blood in July of 2025, another strong entry in his catalog that blends his signature outlaw country sound with some rock influence.
And somehow he’s squeezing all this in while also gearing up for a pretty wild tour run this year. Jinks is slated to hit the road with the metal band Five Finger Death Punch later this year for a massive tour, which shows just how wide his musical lane really is.
For now, it sounds like the band is locking themselves in the studio for the next couple weeks… so stay tuned. If Jinks keeps up his current pace, we might be hearing new music sooner rather than later.
