Only Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton could turn a wild internet rumor into a comedy routine.
After a week of fans worrying over those viral “Dolly’s sick” headlines, the Queen of Country herself posted a video letting everyone know she’s just fine and she’s getting a little backup from her good friend Reba, who couldn’t resist teasing her about the whole thing.
In the clip, Reba laughs and says something along the lines of, “Well, this AI mess has got us doing all kinds of crazy things!” and she’s not wrong. Between deepfakes, AI “duets,” and those fake news posts that spread faster than crap thru a goose, it’s getting harder to tell what’s real anymore.
But seeing the two of them side-by-side, looking and sounding like the country legends they are, was all the proof fans needed. Dolly’s fine, Reba’s still hilarious, and together they’re basically the rhinestone-covered definition of “long live country music.”
