A sold-out crowd packed ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Monday night for the Deep In The Heart Benefit Concert, where Texas country stars came together for an unforgettable evening of music, generosity, and community spirit. By the end of the night, an incredible $1.2 million was raised to support the Heaven’s 27 Foundation and ongoing flood recovery efforts in Kerr County.
The concert featured an all-star list of performers who donated their time and talent to the cause, including Josh Abbott Band, Carly Pearce, Casey Donahew, Kaitlin Butts, The Panhandlers and Wade Bowen.
The motto of Abbott’s organization JAB Cares is simple: “Play Your Part.” And Monday night, Texas showed up. From ticket buyers and artists to sponsors, volunteers, and the behind-the-scenes crew, everyone came together to make a massive impact for families still rebuilding after devastating floods.
