Nate Coon has done it again. The drummer teamed up with Wade Bowen and Josh Weathers on vocals for an amazing cover of the Phil Collins song ‘Easy Lover’.
Wade kills it, but wow, am I impressed by Josh Weathers. Josh is a Fort Worth-based soul singer who just pours his soul into this. Hitting those notes with ease.
Now you may not know who Austinite Nate Coon is. He’s currently the session/touring drummer for Aaron Watson (not much touring going on right now) and should be a big Youtube star due to his amazing videos. If you’re a fan of music check out his channel here!
For the past year, I’ve been on a mission to get Nate to release an album that consists of Texas artists like Wade and Aaron covering pop hits of 80s and 70s.
Below are the two snippets Aaron shared on his social media that got me on Nate. The least I ask for is a video of the full song, I guess we need that before we get a full album.
