Alan Jackson and Caylee Hammack just released their cover of the great Don Williams classic ‘Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good’.
Newcomer Caylee, is making a habit of singing with legends, she just released her single ‘Redhead’ featuring Reba McEntire last month.
Anyway, back to this song. It’s pretty darn good. Don Williams is one of my all-time favorites, this song especially brings me back to when I was little listening to it with my dad in his pick-up truck.
Folks may say, we need songs like this more than ever now, but that’s just not true. We need songs with simple yet powerful messages always. The sky isn’t falling, it’s just hitting closer to home for some of us than we’re used to.
