Last night we were gifted another fantastic Sequestered Songwriters.
The series gives us Texas artists paying tribute to legends in country music. They’ve dedicated sessions to Don Williams Willie Nelson, George Strait, Dolly Parton and more, but last night, the performances were dedicated to the music of Randy Travis.
The highlight of the night was Cody Jinks performance of ‘He Walked On Water’. Cody started off by saying how much Randy means to him and finished the song with a huge surprise… Randy and his wife Mary sitting right next to him the whole time. Pretty cool.
Next week (July 13th) they’ll honor the late Charlie Daniels.
