Holy. Smokes. Week 3 was tough! I really had to push myself this week. I won’t lie on Tuesday I thought I was going to pass out…or puke. This week we are still doing the same workout but our AMRAP (as many reps as possible) time got bumped up to twenty minutes. I was able to do 11 rounds on Tuesday and 12 on Thursday for my training sessions. I can definitely feel my stamina building. Looking back at my fitness evaluation, I could only do maybe 25 kneeling push-ups and now I am doing 120! It feels good to see so much improvement in my strength already.
I also got to meet with the Shannon, the nutritionist, this past week. This was extremely helpful to review my diet and have a guide to what I need/should be eating. I always do so well with a plan. I really liked how she truly listened to my past and history and really helped me make a plan that was tailored to me. I am not really a huge app person when it comes to tracking my food, I stress out when I can’t find exactly what I’ve eaten to enter it in. SO…that being said I am keeping a journal, I’m old school I like paper. Either way, I think it is super helpful to track or write whichever you prefer to truly see what your eating. I struggle a lot with energy and being SO tired all the time. I already feel better with adding the gym back into my life and I am excited to see how my changes in eating can help me too. Keep y’all updated! #getOnnit
