Garth Brooks has another award to add to his collection!
It was announced today that Garth Brooks will receive the 2020 Icon Award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
Brooks is one of nine artists to receive this award, the other recipients include Cher, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. He has won 19 Billboard Music Awards, is the only artist to have eight diamond-certified albums, and the first artist to appear on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart across five decades.
Garth Brooks will perform at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. It will air live from Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. CST on NBC with Kelly Clarkson hosting.
