Texas singer-songwriter William Beckmann is keeping one of his favorite holiday traditions alive this December with the return of his fifth annual Las Posadas Holiday Tour, including a stop in Austin just in time for Christmas.
The Del Rio native will bring his signature blend of traditional country, classic holiday music, Spanish-language favorites and selections from the Great American Songbook to four Texas cities. The intimate holiday performances will feature Beckmann dressed in a tuxedo and backed by a specially assembled band, complete with a horn section.
Inspired by the Latin American Christmas tradition of Las Posadas, which celebrates community, hospitality and togetherness, the annual tour has become a special part of Beckmann’s holiday season.
This year’s shows will also continue the charitable tradition that has been part of the tour since its beginning. All proceeds from the VIP Experience will benefit two organizations connected to Beckmann’s hometown: the Del Rio Chamber Foundation and OMNIA Casa Infantil, a nonprofit that helps provide school supplies and everyday necessities for children in need.
Beckmann says the opportunity to give back makes the annual celebration even more meaningful, especially because a close family friend is involved with OMNIA Casa Infantil.
2026 Las Posadas Holiday Tour Dates:
- December 16 – Dallas, TX – Majestic Theater
- December 17 – Houston, TX – Bayou Music Center
- December 18 – Austin, TX – ACL Live at The Moody Theater
- December 19 – San Antonio, TX – Majestic Theatre
The holiday tour comes during a busy year for Beckmann, who has been building a national following with his distinctive sound that combines traditional country influences with the music of his Mexican-American heritage.
Following the release of his major-label debut album, Whiskey Lies & Alibis, in 2025, Beckmann has continued to introduce his music to new audiences while sharing stages with artists including Kacey Musgraves and Tucker Wetmore.
Before the holiday shows begin, he’ll also make several additional Texas appearances, including Corpus Christi on October 16, College Station on November 5 and Alpine on November 13.
Tickets and VIP packages for the Las Posadas Holiday Tour go on sale Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. Central.
