Lainey Wilson has released the official music video for her brand-new single, “Kinda Love It,” and she’s brought along a very special guest: her husband, former NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges!
Released Friday, October 9, the upbeat new song is all about falling for a man who might be a little bit of trouble, but loving every minute of it anyway.
And who better to help bring that story to life than her real-life leading man?
The music video gives fans a fun glimpse of the newlyweds together, with Duck taking Lainey on a wild four-wheeler ride around their farm. The video opens with Lainey questioning what her husband is up to before he tells her to trust him. What follows is a whole lot of laughter, adventure, and a little country romance.
Lainey and Duck tied the knot on May 10, 2026, in Tennessee after dating since 2021. Their relationship has already inspired some of her music, including her chart-topping hit “4x4xU.”
“Kinda Love It” was co-written by Wilson alongside John Mayer, Kid Harpoon, and Jon Decious. Mayer also plays guitar on the track, which brings a slightly more pop-influenced sound while keeping Lainey’s signature country personality.
Between the catchy new song, a little romance, and Duck’s driving skills, this might be one of Lainey’s most personal and entertaining videos yet.
