WATCH: Lainey Wilson Literally Loses Her Head in “Phone, Keys, Wallet” Video

Lainey Wilson has released the official music video for “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” and this one is… weird.

The video takes the song’s “I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached” line VERY literally. A headless Lainey runs around the house looking for her stuff while her actual head turns up everywhere from the refrigerator and a record player to the top of her car before eventually rolling down a hill and into the water. Her dog Hippie Mae even gets involved, finding Lainey’s head on the couch and covering her with kisses. Country Now

The song features John Mayer on guitar and was originally released in June. Wilson has described it as a song about being a little scattered and finding somebody who loves you through all of it.

And because you’re probably wondering how in the heck they made this thing, Lainey also shared a behind the scenes look at the green screen trickery used during filming. Turns out the headless Lainey required a whole lot of strategically placed green fabric and a very committed body double.
