Josh Weathers shared some incredible news with fans today, and he did it the way he’s always been best at… speaking directly to the people who have supported him from the beginning.
In a heartfelt video posted to social media, Weathers announced that he’ll make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, August 15. Calling it “the honor of a lifetime,” he thanked everyone who has been part of his journey and said he couldn’t wait to step into the famous circle.
For any country artist, an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry is one of the highest honors in music. It’s a milestone that represents generations of country music history, making this a huge moment for the Fort Worth singer-songwriter.
