Just when you thought summer cookout season couldn’t get any weirder, Pringles said, “Hold my can.”
The iconic chip brand is rolling out limited-edition Pringles Pop Dog Buns just in time for National Hot Dog Day, and yes… they’re exactly what they sound like. Instead of flavoring the chips, Pringles flavored the buns.
The potato-based hot dog buns come in three fan-favorite flavors:
- Sour Cream & Onion
- BBQ
- Honey Mustard
Even stranger? The buns are about 7½ inches long so they’ll fit inside a Pringles can.
The Pop Dog Buns won’t be sold in grocery stores. Instead, they’ll be available for free with the purchase of a $6.97 three-pack of Pringles (one can each of Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard) during special online drops on July 8 and July 15 while supplies last.
If you want to snag a pack, or sign up to be notified when they drop, head to the official Once You Pop Market.
Now the important question…
Would you actually try one, or is this taking “Once You Pop” a little too far?
