The wait is over, and now we finally know what that mysterious countdown clock was all about.
Garth Brooks is officially heading back on the road with the Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour, and Team Garth announced today that the first stop will be Indianapolis, Indiana.
The announcement ends days of speculation after fans noticed a countdown clock on Garth’s website, wondering what the country superstar had up his sleeve. As it turns out, the countdown was leading to the announcement of his next tour.
This marks Garth’s return to arena shows after years of focusing on stadium tours and his Las Vegas residency. While Indianapolis is the only city announced so far, fans are already anticipating additional dates in the weeks ahead.
Tickets for the Indianapolis show go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. EDT through Ticketmaster.
Garth’s stadium tours became some of the biggest events in country music history, packing venues across the country. This time around, the move back to arenas should give fans a chance to experience the show in a more intimate setting while still delivering the energy and production Brooks is known for.
For now, all eyes are on Indianapolis… and on Garth, as fans wait to see which cities will be added to the Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour next.
We’ll update this story as more tour dates and details are announced.
