If you’re looking for an excuse to make a Dairy Queen run, the chain has plenty of new reasons to stop by this summer.
To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Dairy Queen is rolling out a lineup of limited-time frozen treats, including a red, white, and blue float and three brand-new Blizzard flavors inspired by tastes from around the world.
Leading the celebration is the new Stars & Stripes Misty Slush Float, made with layers of Cherry Misty Slush, Dairy Queen’s signature soft serve, Blue Raspberry Misty Slush, and festive star-shaped sprinkles. The patriotic float will be available in a small size for $2.50 from June 29 through July 5 at participating locations.
DQ is also introducing three new Blizzard Treats for a limited time:
- Strawberry Mango Mochi Blizzard
- Biscoff Cookie Blizzard
- Mexican-style Hot Chocolate Blizzard made with Abuelita hot chocolate mix
The new menu is tied to both America’s 250th birthday celebration and this summer’s World Cup, with Dairy Queen saying it wanted to bring together festive American flavors and international inspiration.
Rewards members can also earn bonus points and enter the DQ Go for the Globe Sweepstakes through the DQ app by purchasing the new treats. The promotion includes a chance to win a vacation, along with bonus rewards for trying the limited-time menu items.
The Stars & Stripes Misty Slush Float will only be available through July 5, while the new Blizzard flavors will stick around for a limited time at participating Dairy Queen locations nationwide.
