Cody Johnson Gives Fans Another Preview Of His Upcoming Album
As if I wasn’t already excited about Cody Johnson’s new album, now he’s gone and released another song from *Banks of the Trinity*.
CoJo’s new track, “Take Me Back (Leave Me There),” is officially out now ahead of the album’s June 26 release, and honestly, this one feels like it is going to hit a nerve with a whole lot of people.
The song leans heavily into classic Cody Johnson territory with a big country sound and lyrics centered around wishing you could hold onto one perfect memory just a little longer. It feels nostalgic without losing that signature CoJo edge fans love.
*Banks of the Trinity* will mark Cody’s tenth studio album and follows his award-winning project *Leather*. The upcoming record will also feature collaborations with Luke Combs and Brothers Osborne.
If the rest of the album sounds anything like this, June 26 cannot get here fast enough.
Give the new song a listen above.
