Ella Langley’s rise in country music just hit another major milestone.
The Alabama native was honored with the Powerhouse Award at the 2026 Billboard Women in Music event, held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The annual show celebrates some of the most influential women across the music industry, and Langley’s name is now firmly in that conversation.
Fellow country star Lainey Wilson had the honor of presenting the award, and she made it clear why Langley was the right choice. She praised her grit, her storytelling, and the way she’s stayed true to who she is while carving out her place in the genre.
Langley also took the stage during the ceremony, performing her breakout hit “Choosin’ Texas” before accepting the award. When it came time to speak, she admitted she didn’t have a prepared speech and was just going to “wing it,” which honestly fits her style perfectly.
The recognition comes at a time when Langley is having a serious moment. Between chart success, a growing fan base, and a string of big performances, she’s quickly becoming one of the most talked-about names in country music right now.
And moments like this just confirm what a lot of fans already know… she’s not just part of the next wave, she’s leading it.
