Cody Johnson is getting ready to drop new music… and fans won’t have to wait long.
A brand new track called “Hello Lonesome” is set to arrive this Friday, May 1, and it’s already starting to make the rounds after an early preview out at Stagecoach Festival.
Johnson shared that festivalgoers got a first listen to the song, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
The new track is also a preview of what’s ahead. His upcoming album, Banks of the Trinity, is set for release June 26 and is expected to be one of his most personal projects yet, inspired by his East Texas roots and the Trinity River where he grew up.
