Flatland Cavalry are keeping the momentum going from their latest album A Work of Heart with the release of the official music video for “Unglued.”
The video just dropped and was co-directed by Kaitlin Butts and Chris Beyrooty, adding a personal layer to the project. Butts, who is not only a successful artist in her own right, who also recently starred in Choose by Ella Langley music video, is also married to frontman Cleto Cordero … and she doesn’t just stay behind the camera here either. She makes a quick cameo appearance in the video as well.
“Unglued” is one of the standout tracks from the band’s newest release, and this visual gives fans a fresh way to connect with it. The storyline follows Cleto as a rough-around-the-edges rocker who gets a full glow-up into a polished cowboy to fit what his girlfriend wants. Problem is… the second she spots a more successful rodeo cowboy, she ditches him like he never even stood a chance.
It’s part love story, part makeover gone wrong, and a reminder that sometimes changing yourself still isn’t enough.
