Dolly Parton is officially America’s favorite, at least according to a new survey that ranked public figures by favorability. Out of 1,000 people surveyed, Dolly came out on top with a massive +65 net favorability score. Not just winning… absolutely running away with it.
And when you look at the rest of the list, it makes it even more impressive.
Trailing behind her are names like Barack Obama at +14 and Volodymyr Zelenskyy at +13. After that, the numbers drop off pretty quickly. Bernie Sanders lands at +6, George W. Bush at +5, and Taylor Swift squeaks in at +3.
That’s right… Dolly is beating the entire field by a mile.
From there, things turn negative. Figures like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Kamala Harris, and JD Vance all fall below zero, along with a long list of other political and public figures.
At the very bottom of the rankings sits Vladimir Putin at -65.
But back to Dolly… because that’s really the story here.
She’s one of the few public figures who seems to cut across every line. Politics, age, background, you name it. Whether it’s the music, the personality, the philanthropy, or just being unapologetically herself for decades, people genuinely like her.
And in a world where it feels like everyone is divided on just about everything, Dolly Parton being the one thing most people can agree on feels about right.
Honestly, +65 might even be low.
