Fans at a sold-out show in San Antonio got a surprise they definitely weren’t expecting when Brandon Lake brought out Cody Johnson for a pretty powerful moment.
Lake welcomed CoJo to the stage to perform their collaboration, “When a Cowboy Prays,” and the crowd reaction said everything.
It’s one thing to hear that song on its own, but seeing both of them perform it live just added a little more weight to it. The message, the delivery … all of it landed.
It’s also another example of how much crossover we’re seeing right now between country and faith-based music, and this one fits right in that lane.
For the fans who were there, yeah… definitely one of those “you had to be there” moments.
