Bluebelle is likely more cat than dog-a little awkward, only likes pets on her terms-once she gets to know you-and prefers to sun herself by the window! Bluebelle arrived at APA! from the city shelter in June of 2021 and has been living happily in a foster home since May of 2025.

Bluebelle has been through multiple rounds of training, enjoys agility, is a great home companion in a low traffic, adult only home as an only dog. She’s nervous about new situations but adjusts with time, space and a routine. She loves walks on the trail and can’t wait to find a home of her own. Her time in foster is coming to an end in April and what we want most of all is to keep her out of the shelter!
With home experience out the wazoo, Bluebelle is one of the funniest, most charming dogs in our care. She’s quirky and vocal and loves on her own terms. When you unlock that special moment of trust, you will feel your heart burst open and know that you gave a senior long stay dog a chance!
