BBQ Austin is almost here, and the official map and full schedule for the 2026 event have officially dropped.
The two-day BBQ cook-off and music event returns to the Travis County Expo Center March 6 and 7, bringing together dozens of Texas BBQ teams, live music, tastings, competitions, and a full carnival.
Organizers released the full layout showing where every team will be set up along with Champions Row, tasting tents, music stages, and carnival areas so fans can start planning their weekend.

Event Hours
Cook-Off Hours
Friday, March 6: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, March 7: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Carnival Hours
Friday, March 6: 4 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, March 7: 11 a.m. to midnight
Carnival opening times may vary by day and closing time is subject to change.
Ticket Prices
Fairground ticket prices are expected to go on sale soon.
Adults: $10
Kids (ages 3 to 12): $5
Children ages 2 and under are free.
Parking
Parking is available at the gate for $20 per vehicle and can be paid with cash or credit card.
Parking can also be pre-purchased online, but keep in mind it is not come and go. If you leave the lot and return later, you will be charged again.
Rideshare and Drop-Off
There is a designated rideshare and drop-off lot for guests using Uber, Lyft, or being dropped off by friends.
Enter through Gate 1 and follow the rideshare signs to the marked pickup and drop-off location.
The KOKE Home Base Tent
If you’re looking for a place to hang during the weekend, the Dirrty Swamp Cookers of Austin / Here 4 Beer BBQ / Come And Take It BBQ Team tent will serve as a central gathering spot throughout the event.
The tent will also host live music both days.
