Another big one for Turnpike Troubadours.
The band was surprised last week with a Pandora Billionaire plaque, marking more than one billion streams on the platform and the timing couldn’t have been better. Pandora’s VP of Programming at SiriusXM Pandora, Johnny Chiang, presented the plaque during Turnpike’s sold-out show at Billy Bob’s Texas, turning an already packed night into a full-circle moment.
The numbers back it up. Turnpike Troubadours have now topped 2.2 billion streams worldwide and passed 1.7 million equivalent units sold, quietly building one of the most impressive runs in modern Red Dirt and Texas-leaning country.
And it hasn’t just stayed on playlists. The band has been inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, popped up on Yellowstone, and continues to be part of Paramount’s Landman, with eight of their songs featured so far.
From sold-out rooms to streaming milestones to TV placements, Turnpike just keeps moving forward, and people keep showing up.
