Ella Langley had fans watching the clock all week, literally.
About a week ago, the country singer quietly added a countdown timer to her official website, with no explanation other than an expiration date set for January 27 at noon ET. As the seconds ticked down, fans speculated about everything from a new single to a full album announcement.
When the clock finally hit zero, Langley made it official.
Langley shared the news herself, writing, “So excited to finally announce that my sophomore album ‘Dandelion’ will be out April 10th & the title track is yours this Friday! Welcome to Dandelionland.”
The album will arrive on April 10, with the title track dropping this Friday, January 30.
Dandelion marks Langley’s second full-length project and arrives during a breakout stretch in her career. The album is expected to feature “Choosin’ Texas,” a track co-written by Miranda Lambert that has helped expand Langley’s reach and introduce her music to a wider audience.
While full album details have yet to be released, the announcement alone was enough to send fans into celebration mode after days of anticipation.
With new music arriving this week and a full album set for April, Ella Langley’s next chapter is officially underway … welcome to Dandelionland.
