Something is definitely brewing in country music.
On Tuesday, Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, HARDY, and Tim McGraw all posted cryptic images to Instagram, and none of them included captions. The images appeared to resemble tombstones, each tied to a member of the “McArthur” family, complete with names and dates.

Tim McGraw shared: “John McArthur — born November 2, 1920, died November 22, 1963.”
Morgan Wallen posted to his Instagram Story: “Hunter McArthur — May 13, 1993.”
Naturally, fans went straight into detective mode.
Tim McGraw’s date immediately raised eyebrows, as it matches the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Coincidence? No idea. Morgan’s post stands out too. He is the only “McArthur” still alive, and the date he shared happens to be his real-life birthday.
So what does it all mean?
At this point, nobody knows for sure. But with this many major artists coordinating mysterious posts at the same time, most fans are convinced it is leading up to a new song, or possibly something bigger.
For now, all we can do is watch and wait.
