Josh Weathers just dropped a new music video for his song “Life Still Happens,” and honestly… this one makes a lot of sense for where he’s at right now.
The song comes off his new record Neon Never Fades, and the title pretty much tells you everything you need to know. Life keeps rolling whether you’re ready or not. Plans change. Stuff happens. You deal with it. Repeat.
The video doesn’t try to do too much. No big dramatic storyline, no distractions, just letting the song do what it’s supposed to do. It feels real and relatable, which is kind of Josh’s whole thing. He’s never been about flashy nonsense. He just tells the truth and lets it land where it lands.
“Life Still Happens” fits right into Neon Never Fades, an album that feels grown-up in the best way. Not sad, not preachy … just honest. The kind of song you listen to and think, “Yeah… that checks out.”
