It’s a big day in Zach Bryan land. The Oklahoma singer-songwriter just dropped his brand new album With Heaven on Top today (January 9th), and it’s already blowing up timelines whether you’ve listened to it or not.
The new project marks Bryan’s sixth studio album and clocks in at a whopping 25 songs, making it one of his most expansive releases yet. It arrives via Belting Bronco / Warner Records and is available on all the usual streaming and physical formats.
Since I haven’t hit play yet (honesty is the best policy), here’s what we do know:
-
The album is loaded with personal themes: relationships, reflection, sobriety, and life changes.
-
Several outlets are already calling out tracks like “Skin,” “Appetite,” and “Plastic Cigarette” for digging into very real, very autobiographical territory.
-
There’s also reportedly some lighter, more celebratory material tied to his recent marriage.
-
The title track “With Heaven On Top” anchors it all with bittersweet storytelling and perspective a la Zach Bryan.
