Koe Wetzel is gearing up for a big year, and he’s already firing up the hype machine around his next studio album.
In a recent interview with Country Countdown USA, Wetzel said the new project is going to sound different from anything he’s done before and he’s pretty confident fans are going to like where he’s headed. In his words, the record is shaping up to be “one hell of a record.”
Wetzel has never been shy about bending genres, bouncing between country, rock, and grunge-leaning influences, and he hinted that the upcoming album will keep pushing those boundaries. While he didn’t spill full details, he did say the project has its own identity and that the creative process this time around has been especially exciting.
On top of all that, Wetzel recently posted a new video teasing what appears to be fresh music, giving fans a quick taste of the new sound he’s talking about and sending the comment section into full detective mode.
