Neal McCoy is officially headed into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and if there’s anyone who’s carried the Texas spirit with a smile, a swing, and a whole lotta heart, it’s Neal. The East Texas legend will be inducted on Thursday, January 15, 2026, during the annual Induction Ceremony & Encampment Gala at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth — the world’s largest honky tonk and the perfect spot to celebrate a guy who’s been entertaining Texans for decades.
From hits like “Wink” and “No Doubt About It” to his daily Pledge of Allegiance livestreams, Neal has always been one of the good guys, an entertainer who shows up for the fans, for Texas, and for just about every charity event you can imagine. Now he’s getting a well-deserved honor from the state he’s proudly represented his whole career.
The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame recognizes folks who’ve made a lasting impact on Texas’ Western heritage and he’ll join an impressive group of country artists already in the Hall of Fame, including: George Strait, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Clay Walker, Red Steagall and honorary Texan Chris LeDoux.
Neal McCoy stepping into that lineup? Feels exactly right.
