Zach Bryan is getting honest with fans about his mental health and a big life change. In a new Instagram post, he shared that he’s been sober for nearly two months after realizing he needed to make a serious shift.
Bryan said the clarity came during a 20-day motorcycle trip across the country, a ride he took to reset and get his head straight. By the end of it, he realized he “really needed some f***ing help” and that he’d been leaning on alcohol to cope with stress, panic attacks, and constant anxiety.
Instead of ignoring it, he decided to tackle it head-on. Bryan found a therapist, committed to working on himself, and made the decision to step away from drinking.
Now, almost two months later, he says he feels steady, content, and whole, and hopes sharing his story encourages others to reach out if they need help too.
Bryan ended his post with a message to anyone struggling: it’s okay to need help and it’s even stronger to ask for it.
