Texas country standout Randall King is back today with a brand-new track called “Big Deal,” and it’s exactly the kind of small-town swagger anthem you’d expect from one of the genre’s strongest traditionalists.
Written by Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin and Nick Walsh and co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, the song leans into all the things folks get known for in a tight-knit town, whether it’s shutting down the bar, dominating karaoke night, or who you used to date. It’s clever, catchy, and a perfect fit for King’s brand of neon-soaked country.
Randall’s already hyping this one up:
“Big big deal incoming. And it ain’t no Black Friday sale,” King joked. “If you’re a small towner with a big ole attitude like me, then you know how it is round here. This one’s for you.”
“Big Deal” gives fans another preview of what’s coming on his 2026 studio project, which he’s currently back in the studio working on. It follows his recent release “I Keep Your Memory Around.”
If you’re keeping track of his catalog, King’s been on a steady climb. His sophomore album Into The Neon dropped in January 2024 and included his first Country radio single, “I Could Be That Rain.” Before that came 2020’s Leanne and his Warner Nashville debut Shot Glass in 2022.
