The Red Clay Strays just announced a huge milestone, they’re set to play Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 9, 2026. Not bad for a band that cut its teeth on dusty stages across the South and built a massive following the old-fashioned way: touring nonstop and winning fans one show at a time.
If you’ve caught them live, you already know why this is such a big moment. That mix of gritty country, rock-and-roll soul, and raw energy feels tailor-made for a room as iconic as MSG. It’s a long way from hometown bars to the “World’s Most Famous Arena,” but these guys have been on a pretty wild upward climb over the past few years.
With support from The Revivalists and Brent Cobb, the show will also be recorded live.
Lead singer Brandon Coleman said:
“Never would have thought we’d be headlining Madison Square Garden. We are very grateful to be checking this one off the bucket list.”
