Randy Rogers is adding another big title to his résumé: music executive. The Texas country mainstay has joined forces with Elic Goicoechea to launch Dreamer Management, a new Austin-based artist management company.
The first wave of artists on their roster includes some familiar and fast-rising Texas names: Ashton Naylor, Cameron Allbright, Hank Weaver, Parker Ryan, Slade Coulter, and Travis Roberts.
Brendon Anthony of Big Loud Texas says the new venture is a win for the Lone Star State:
“The launch of Dreamer Management is very exciting, and it increases the possibility for more Texas artists to break on the national scene. Randy Rogers has long been a wonderful identifier of Texas talent, and I have every confidence that his partnership with Elic will continue to attract and develop the next generation of great Texas singer-songwriters.”
BMI Austin’s Mitch Ballard also praised the move:
“Randy Rogers has been a cornerstone of Texas music for years—not just on stage, but behind the scenes, too. His new partnership with Elic shows his continued commitment to mentoring young artists and strengthening the music business right here in Texas.”
Rogers has been at the helm of the Randy Rogers Band for more than two decades, with their latest project, The Going, out now.
Goicoechea, a recent Texas State University grad, got his start with Ascend Music Group, where he managed, booked, and created content for local artists.
