The countdown is on to the 59th Annual CMA Awards, and host Lainey Wilson is giving fans a sneak peek at what’s in store for “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”
In a brand-new promo, Lainey strolls out onto an empty stage and gets to work setting up for the show, realizing pretty quickly that her 2024 co-hosts, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, are nowhere to be found.
“Alright, looks like I’m running the show,” she jokes before swapping a glamorous ball gown for a more Lainey-approved look: a neon pink sequined pantsuit topped off with a cowboy hat. “There’s some bell in them bottoms,” she quips, showing off her signature flare.
The teaser promises “everybody’s favorite stars” and “an unforgettable opening” when the CMA Awards air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 19 on ABC.
The promo is set to Lainey’s song “Yesterday, All Day, Every Day” from her Whirlwind (Deluxe) album, proving that this year’s host is bringing plenty of her own flair to the big night.
