Chris Stapleton just released a brand-new ballad that’ll hit you right in the feels. The soulful track, “Heart Letting Go,” is featured on the soundtrack for Season 2 of Nobody Wants This – the hit Netflix series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
The show follows the unlikely romance between Joanne, an outspoken (and agnostic) podcaster, and Noah, a kindhearted rabbi. Season 2 dives even deeper into their relationship as they try to blend their two very different worlds together and Stapleton’s song fits that emotional tone perfectly.
“It’s hard to stay but leaving hurts / And I’m not sure which one is the worst / Because tonight I’ll hold the love I used to know / And listen to a heart letting go.”
“Heart Letting Go” follows Stapleton’s recent single “Bad As I Used To Be” from the F1 movie soundtrack, and his 2023 album Higher, which featured “White Horse,” “Think I’m in Love With You,” and the soaring title track.
The Nobody Wants This Season 2 soundtrack also packs an impressive lineup, including songs from Selena Gomez, Teddy Swims, Kacey Musgraves, FINNEAS, Alessia Cara, and Ella Langley.
